Colourful, stylised birds feature frequently in the intricate designs of the Celts, appearing in all shapes and sizes. Some, such as the peacock were used to symbolise Celtic beliefs like immortality whereas others were simply decorative. This card illustrates just one of these beautiful Celtic birds.
